CUSTOM METAL CUTTING SERVICES

If it’s metal, we can cut it to almost any size or shape — from delicate sheets of copper to thick carbon-steel I-beams. No matter the scale, we’ve got the machines and staff of experienced operators to meet nearly any specification.

Our Cutting Equipment

  • Production Saws
    3 machines — capacities to 20″ x 30″

  • Plate Shears
    3 machines — capacities to 3/8″ x 10′

  • CNC Oxy Fuel and Plasma Cutters
    3 machines — capacities to 1 1/4″ stainless and 6″ carbon steel; table sizes to 12′ x 42′

  • Trumpf Laser Cutter
    3,000-watt machine — capacities to 1/2″ stainless and 3/4″ carbon steel; table size 5′ x 10′

Metal Sawing

We mainly use our production saws for structural steel projects, cutting large beams that we then use to support some of the big tanks we make, for example.

We’ve got three band saws with capacities up to 30”.

 

CNC Plasma Cutting

Plasma tables are great for carving complex shapes out of thick metal plates. Perfect for when you need a circular hole, for example.

All of our high-definition plasma machines feature Computer Numeric Control (CNC). You just program the pattern and they cut the design out of the plate.

Our collection of high-definition plasma cutters includes three machines with 12’ x 42’ tables and capacities to 1 1/4″ stainless and 6” carbon steel.

Steel Plate Shearing

We use our plate shears to cut simple shapes out of thick steel plate, such as when we’re making carbon steel ductwork or durable metal bins.

Our plate shear bay includes three machines with capacities to 3/8” x 10’.

Laser Cutting Services

When we need precision custom metal cutting, we fire up our Trumpf laser cutter. While it’s suited for delicate work, we also use it to cut heavy steel plates for jobs that require strict tolerances, as is the case with pollution control equipment .

Here are the specs for our laser: 3,000 watts, 5’ x 10’ table, capacities from 7/16” to 1/2″ stainless and from 5/8” to 3/4″ carbon steel.
